Rafael & Jasmyn

Two young hearts in their third year of marriage. "Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. ... Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ." Ephesians 5:1-2, 21

Our first home!

It has been way too long since you've had an update in our blogspot! Sorry.

Our home has been such a blessing. We have little of material stuff, but we love having our own place. We enjoy having a home to invite friends to.

It was great back in April to have a pizza night in our home with the young adult group at church. Rafa and I made pizzas with prepared pizza dough and whatever seemed good to put on them. The group of 10 that came was a perfect fit for our cozy place, and we filled the room with music, laughter and fun. We played Farkel, my grandma would be proud, chatted, and everyone was passing around my guitar to play.

We live a block from the metro and we hear the "micro" or bus go by all day long..he he, as we are on a busy street, but really, it is amazing to have this location. We are close to the mall, the movie theater and the supermarket. Good for us without a car. In fact, it is great to not need one. Mass transportation works great and we love walking.

They just built our apartment complex so everything is new, so nice. We have a 3 bedroom apartment and though we don't have beds other than our own yet, we still ask for you to come visit us in Chile. We'll prepare. :) The mountains are so beautiful, especially now with its first new dabbles of snow at its peaks.

Rafa is keeping quite busy with studying, tests, and working at the clinic. He has even begun to work on Jasmyn as a patient...cavities he says, we'll see. :)

Jasmyn has been job jumping! First in Rafael (father-in-law)'s business, then with Berlitz for training, and then with Alief Institute. She has envisions of selling cookies and giving private English lessons too.

Hope you enjoy some of our photos.
