Thanksgiving 2008

This year we had Thanksgiving dinner with the Backstroms and Kuhlows. Jasmyn works with them at the US Embassy. It table was set with the most amount of dishes Jasmyn has ever seen at a Thanksgiving meal. They loved the scalloped corn dish we brought.

We had turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, cauliflower casserole, sweet potato fries, scalloped corn, Cranberry Irish Soda bread, gravy and mashed potatoes, a wonderful salad, creamed spinach, and wine. For dessert there was pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and chocolate soufflé! Needless to say, we did not go home hungry!!

Rafa as usual got along well with the kids and played with them outside for a bit. :) They liked rolling their "r" saying Rafael.
