Rafael & Jasmyn

Two young hearts in their third year of marriage. "Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. ... Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ." Ephesians 5:1-2, 21

Any Day now...

Matías could come any day now. Due date is January 22nd and it looks like he´s waiting to complete his guaranteed time in the womb...he he...getting it for all its worth.

Jasmyn has a new doctor now last minute because the other went on vacation! That was a shock to us, however, it seems the new doctor is better although older...must be 60 or 70 years old. : ) Ultrasound today showed everything good and on track. We are so filled with gratitude to God. He has been very gracious and this pregnancy has been very easy-going. Doctor today gave Jasmyn a "7" for physical health in pregnancy and readiness for birth which in Chilean school system would be an A+.

Soooo, we´re just waiting for him to come.

Hospital bag is packed for both Jasmyn and Matías...even with snacks and money for vending machines for Rafa just in case. : ) Camera and video camera charged too.

Matías´s dresser drawers filled with clothes so tiny and cute and his crib and room ready for baby.

Mommy trying to keep house in order so that if it needs to be left for some time, there won´t be lack of clean clothes and dishes..he he.

Carpets and windows and curtains cleaned.

Even have easy-to-prepare meals bought (Jasmyn always tries to cook from scratch but is going to be realistic about expectations of her time with a new baby) and some past lunch leftovers frozen so if mommy is busy with baby, daddy doesn´t have to buy fast food for lunch..he he. Rafa is not fond of cooking, he´d rather help clean the bathrooms. : )

Jasmyn´s mom is coming to visit in February for 3 weeks. We are excited to have her come and have her help.

Well, rocking chair was bought yesterday so we´re all ready to rock a little wee one to sleep.

Thank you to all that are praying for us and for Matías´s safe arrival.

God bless!

Rafa and Jasmyn
